Johnny Joint rod ends provide cushioning that a heim joint cannot offer via high-density urethane bushing encasing the inner ball.
The center balls, which are heat treated, are cross-drilled for lubrication with a thru-bolt, and the internals of the joint are retained with 2 heavy duty side washers that are heat treated and a snap ring.
This specific joint features a diameter of 2 in., fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 5 in.
of 1 in.-14 right hand threads on the shank, and a mounting width ball of 1.600 in.
with a .562 in.
thru bolt hole.
Finished in gold zinc plating.
