The body is made of heat treated, 4130 chromoly steel with a hard chrome plated, heat treated ball to support heavy shock loads.
A Kevlar/Teflon liner that is injection molded seals out dirt and debris.
The race made of Kevlar/Teflon reduces slop and eliminates binding.
Smooth and precise movement of steering and suspension is provided.
Applications include steering and suspension for racing and high horsepower applications.
To ease assembly, run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.
The ball is made of 52100 bearing steel.
It is heat treated and hard chrome plated.
The race is nylon/PTFE and self-lubricating.
The body is chromoly steel, heat treated, and protective coated for corrosion resistance.
Exclusive features include metal to metal support for heavy shock loads and increased cross-sectional thickness for greater tensile strength.
