Justrite 22605 Safety Cabinet, EN Flammable 90 Min, 30 Gal, Yellow, is constructed using multiple layers of fire-resistant gypsum and mineral fiber insulation.
The cabinet body features a rugged powder coated steel exterior that offers excellent corrosion resistance.
Under fire conditions, all gaps are hermetically sealed by expanding intumescent strips to reduce heat entering the cabinet, ensuring 90 minutes of content protection and extended evacuation time.
The hybrid style doors include a damper that adjusts the force needed to move them.
In the event of a fire, the built-in fusible link system releases to allow automatic closure of doors at 122 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Steel shelves with a powder-coat finish adjust on 1 1/4" increments and have a load capacity of 165 lbs.
A 1" high ledge on the shelves prevents small containers from sliding off easily.
Haz-Alert reflective tri-lingual warning labels are highly visible under fire conditions or during power outages when illuminated with a flashlight.
The cabinets also feature adjustable leveling feet, an integrated transport base for easy repositioning, and mandatory air vents per EN 14470-1.
The vent butterfly valve closes securely at 158 Degrees Fahrenheit in the event of a fire.
Vents include flame arresters and caps for FM compliance.
Independently fire tested and approved by FM Approvals, and tested and GS certified by MPA Dresden, the cabinets are compliant with EN 14470-1/EN 14727 and meet NFPA 30, NFPA 1, and OSHA standards.
