Sport Clutch Pressure Plate ACT (J012S)
ACT pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life.
An exclusive four-stage heat-treating process is endured by all diaphragms for unparalleled performance.
Precision cover stampings are featured in ACT pressure plates to provide rigidity and consistency, with some reinforced to reduce flex, enhance efficiency, and the feel of the pressure plate.
Manufactured from new units, ACT pressure plates are not rebuilt from worn-out parts and are 100 percent tested and computer balanced for smooth operation at high RPM.
Clamp load is increased by 20 to 40 percent in ACT's Sport pressure plates, which have a pedal feel that ranges from stock to moderate.
Recommended for use with a street disc, ACT's Sport pressure plates are ideal for performance applications.
