Forged from a chrome-molly billet, this flywheel undergoes heating and impact from a large 5000-ton mechanical forge, yielding an ultra fine grain structure in the metal, making it the strongest flywheel available.
Following the CAD design to maximize strength, heat dissipation, and reduced inertia, this Xact Streetlite flywheel was CNC machined and computer balanced for precision and quality.
It is lighter than stock flywheels, allowing for improved throttle response and acceleration preferred by street and drag racers, while still retaining enough inertia for reasonable drivability.
