Forged from a chrome-molly billet, this flywheel undergoes heating and impacts from a large 5000-ton mechanical forge, resulting in an ultra fine grain structure in the metal, making it the strongest flywheel available.
Following the design in CAD to maximize strength, greater heat dissipation, and reduced inertia, this Xact Streetlite flywheel was CNC machined and balanced for precision and quality.
It is lighter than stock flywheels, offering improved throttle response and acceleration preferred by street and drag racers, while still retaining enough inertia for reasonable drivability.
