Each design features a large chamfer to accommodate larger crankshaft fillets, a 3/4 groove to maximize load carrying capacity and provide optimum oil supply to rods, increased crush, and tighter wall tolerance for better seating.
Improved overlay and reduced thickness enhance fatigue strength.
The hardened steel backing maintains crush under high loads and temperatures.
