The rear sub frame of Subaru is mounted on rubber voided bushings, which allows for a significant amount of compliance and movement in the frame during high cornering loads.
The low compliance polymer bushings from White line eliminate this condition by positively locking the frame position and removing the 'lateral walking' found when using high grip tires.
The design of the polymer bushing includes soft 'stand-off' buffers on the top and bottom surfaces to allow slight vertical movement of the sub frame, eliminating that 'rock-solid' NVH feel and cushioning against minor bumps while ensuring solid positive location when high torque and power are applied.
