Sure Seat Edelbrock Valve Spring - Pack of 16, Multi, One Size
The Sure Seat Valve Spring by Edelbrock is made from the highest quality spring wire and is precision-wound to exact specifications.
Designed for use on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) heads, it works in conjunction with Performer-Plus, Performer RPM, and Torker-Plus camshafts.
It closes the valve while also ensuring that the valve train remains in contact with the cam lobe.
Adequate seat pressure is provided to allow a tight fit between the valve face and the valve seat, sealing the combustion chamber.
This valve spring seat protects aluminum heads and locates the valve spring to prevent movement at higher engine speeds.
Checking the clearance between the rocker arm and the retainer is required before starting the engine.
The inner and outer spring's inside diameter is 0.880, and the outer spring's outside diameter is 1.265.
