Protect and extend the life of your mooring buoys with the Mooring Collar from Taylor Made.
It is designed specifically to prevent the anchor chain from scraping against the neck of your mooring buoy while sitting on top of the water.
This collar will limit wear and tear that can quickly damage the buoy's neck and will not harm the anchor chain on your shackle.
The mooring buoy collar is compatible with the Taylor Made T3C mooring buoys of 12” and 15” diameter and any buoy featuring the center tube design.
It will shield the top edge of the pipe from wear and tear.
It will work fine in taper and shackle buoys as long as the appropriate size collar is chosen for the tube.
The wide collar fits most standard shackles, and installation is quick and easy.
You slip the collar into the top of your Taylor Made Sur-Moor buoy center tube of 2”, 2-1/2” or 3” diameter, run the anchor chain up, and simply attach your shackle.
Hardware is not included.
The T3C mooring collar is made from hot-dipped galvanized steel for a secure and sturdy hold.
The collar is corrosion resistant and will tolerate the harsh marine environment as it protects your mooring buoy.
