Protect and extend the life of your mooring buoys with the Mooring Collar from Taylor Made.
It is designed specifically to prevent the anchor chain from scraping against the neck of your mooring buoy while sitting on top of the water.
This collar limits wear and tear that can quickly damage the buoy's neck and won’t harm the anchor chain on your shackle.
Compatible with the 12” and 15” diameter Taylor Made T3C mooring buoys and any buoy with a center tube design, it shields the top edge of the pipe from wear and tear.
It works fine in the shackle and taper buoys as long as the appropriate size collar is chosen for the tube.
The wide collar fits most standard shackles, and installation is quick and easy.
Simply slip the collar into the top of your 2”, 2-1/2” or 3” diameter Taylor Made Sur-Moor buoy center tube, run the anchor chain up, and attach your shackle.
Hardware is not included.
The T3C mooring collar is made from hot-dipped galvanized steel for a secure hold.
The collar is corrosion resistant and tolerates the harsh marine environment while protecting your mooring buoy.
