The Complete TJ/LJ TeraFlex High Steer Tie Rod End Kit includes all components needed to flip the tie rod over the knuckle, increasing ground clearance by an additional 3 feet for added protection of the tie rod.
The kit can also be used to rebuild an existing flipped tie rod.
Details: High Steer Tie Rod End Replacement Kit w/ Insert Sleeves - Complete Both Tie Rod Ends and Drag Link Ends Includes Tapered Sleeves Sold As A Kit SKU: 4923300 Fits: 1997-2006 Jeep TJ Wrangler 2004-2006 Jeep LJ Wrangler Unlimited (long wheelbase) Includes: Tie rod ends - pair Drag link ends - pair Tapered sleeves - 3 pack Notes: Upgrade kit only works w/ TeraFlex TJ/LJ: Dana 30/44 High Steer System Kits (Pro LCG: P/N 1849000 | 4 Inches Plus Lift: P/N 1813000) or TeraFlex High Steer Knuckles (P/N 4828490) Drilling the driver side knuckle taper to a 3/4 inch hole is required for flipping the tie rod.
Tie Rod Ends are either 7/8 inch x 18 - Left-Hand Thread or 7/8 inch x 18 - Right-Hand Thread.
