Tri-Power Gates AX48 Belt
This Tri-Power belt from Gates is a power transmission V-belt featuring a combination of load carrying capacity and flex.
Made of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber, it offers resistance to oils, weathering, water, and some solvents.
The cords are strongly bonded to the body of the belt for equal load distribution, reducing bending stress without deterioration of the cord.
Molded notches on the underside create the necessary flexibility to fit smaller diameter sheaves while maintaining strength and traction.
The edge of the belt is machined for even sheave groove contact, resulting in less slip and wear.
It has a working temperature range of -60 to +250 degrees F to protect against cracking and meets RMA oil and heat resistance standards along with static conductivity requirements.
Tri-Power belts are part of the V80 matching system from Gates, ensuring even load distribution on multi-belt drives and improved wear.
