A standard .375-inch x 24 thread chromed brass ferrule is included.
Increased power handling is allowed by the larger coiled housing.
The patented low loss air wound coil design uses 10-gauge silver plated wire.
Made of high-impact engineered thermoplastic, the black and clear coil is durable.
The frequency range is 26MHz to 30MHz.
A static-reducing weather cap is included.
Weather-band ready, the item dimensions are 48 x 4 x 2.5 inches.
For optimal operation, install the coil and about two-thirds of the antenna above your vehicle roof line.
Many professional trucking CBs utilize center-loaded CB antennas, which are more efficient than base-loaded types.
