This kit features an Xtreme pressure plate for the most demanding driver.
Exclusive diaphragm design is used by ACT Xtreme pressure plates to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life.
A four-stage heat-treating process is endured by all diaphragms for unparalleled performance.
Precision cover stampings are present in ACT pressure plates to provide rigidity and consistency.
A spring-center construction is featured by ACT's 6-pad spring-centered race disc to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions.
Wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings are utilized by ACT spring retainers to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability.
Engagement is harsher with the 6-pad spring-centered race disc, but shifting is faster.
The 6-pad spring-centered disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
